August 11th, 2026 – Meeting Minutes

TARAWOOD Special Dependent Taxing District NO. 32

MEETING MINUTES

August 11th, 2026 – 3103 Tarabrook Dr, Tampa, FL 33618

Trustee Osborne called the regular meeting of the TSDTD to order at 7:30 P.M.  Trustees attending included:  James Osborne and Stoney Morgado.   A quorum was not obtained.  There were no property owners in attendance.

SECRETARY’S REPORT:

Trustee Osborne read the meeting minutes from July 14th, 2026.

TREASURER’S REPORT:

No report was provided given Treasurer not in attendance.

OLD BUSINESS:

Trustee Terri provided a pond maintenance quote from AllWater (new name for former A&B Aquatics company) bid at $450/month or $5,400/year.  Includes monthly inspections, treatment/removal of nuisance vegetation and algae as deemed necessary.  Our prior service with a different company was $625 quarterly.  The board discussed options and how perhaps a one time shock/treatment of the pond might be a better option before restarting monthly or quarterly service, given the state of the pond.  Trustee Terri to reach back out and inquire on a one time treatment price.

Trustee Osborne informed the board that the FY27 budget package was submitted to the County.

Street sweep was completed last week by our long time provider, Sutton Street Sweeping, as we needed it after the storm. The price has increased for dump fees.  We are awaiting invoice from them for payment.

The board discussed the light pole on Tarabrook that was damaged from the storm, with the top half removed.  The County has already been contacted and it is on the schedule for repair.  It has been temporarily disconnected so there are no live wire issues.

Trustee Cinquegrano emailed the team on seeing plants directly installed in the path of the signage light at the Lake Magdalene/Taragrove entrance.  As we are paying Big League now for monthly maintenance of the new plantings, it was discussed to have Big League look at it and potentially move the plants to a different area out of the way.  Trustee Terri to contact.

Trustee Plunkett took pictures of all the lampposts and the numbers of the lampposts to provide to the County for the repainting project.

NEW BUSINESS:

Trustee Osborne confirmed that the new plantings are blocking 3 floodlights so the signage is not receiving the appropriate light: West side of Ehrlich/Scarlett Dr., North side of Lake Mag/Taragrove Dr., corner of Lake Mag/Ehrlich.   It appears 1 plant is blocking each light.

Trustee Plunkett spoke with TECO’s lighting Operations department who confirmed that TECO would not be responsible for studying and installing lights in the neighborhood given we are a tax district.  TECO suggested we go through the County, which he warned was a “tedious” process.  Trustee Plunkett to follow up with the contact at the County to continue exploring the lighting improvement project.

_______________________________

As there was not a quorum no new business items were voted upon or approved.

A motion was made to adjourn by Trustee Osborne and seconded by Trustee Morgado.  The meeting was adjourned at 7:50pm.

Respectfully Submitted,

James Osborne

Secretary
